That's what I've been saying for awhile now. Saban would take that job for a lot less than 7 million IMO. Why not? He'd be reunited with his buddy Mark Emmert, would be in a beautiful part of the country and wouldn't have to put up with all the pressure and Bamagumpnecks. That's a no brainer to me. If Washington will pay him a little more than he's making now, I say he's gone.........

Saban is not going anywhere.

That's ridiculous. This place could give two shits about the UW football team. There is no pride, no tradition... it's horrible. On a Saturday in Baton Rouge or Tuscaloosa it is all about the teams... here, half the people do not even know who UW is playing... it's sad. You don't see too many people walking around with their team's colors or clothing, no flags on cars going to the game, no nothing. This state and area could care less about UW football, Saban would never leave for some place like this.

UW is the perfect place for CNS! Pac 10 nirvana. You only have one team to beat on a consistent basis. No conference champ game then off to the MNC game! Face it USC is just a bunch of high profile playboys in sunny cal. They consistently play at a much lower level than any talented team around. A well coached team would clean CPC clock.
CNS would be great for the PAC 10. The problem with the pac 10 now is the disparity in talent in every school except USC. CNS could give the conference some much needed balance.

No way he leaves for UW. That being said, Sexton will use every single job opening to get him more money, especially while his stock is hot. Get ready for rumors and pay increases Bama fans.
The only job I could see him leaving for is a Penn State, Notre Dame, USC or Florida State. Programs that allow him to have more National recruitment and easier confrences than the SEC. He's not leaving anytime soon though IMO.

If he ever leaves it will be to a traditional football college. One thats got a national following. The mans EGO is bigger than Death Valley and Bryant Denny put togeather. Besides the obvious (Money) and assuming he waits to win a NC at Bama...He would be the first coach ever to get a NC at 3 different schools. That legacy for his EGO is better than finishing as "Baby Bear"

Of course it was. The dude constantly told us how professional athletes are uncoachable money grubbers. He didn't need to "try it out"...

LMAO!!! Saban to WVU, Saban to LSU last year & now UW...that is the funniest shite I heard all day. I remember last year, Saban was a dead lock to go WVU...he & his wife are from West Virg, they love it up there, they hate it at Bammer, he & the Gov. are best friends..yadda yadda yadda..the same lame arse shite from last year, but who is coaching at WVU...HA, Bill freaking Stewart...who is at Bammer..Mr Nick Saban. Oh yeah, almost forgot, who is coaching at LSU, Coach Miles, & who is still at Bammer...Nick Saban. But hey, I guess when you are on of the most hated coaches around, shite like this just comes with the territory, but what is funnier, is that people really believe it

NOOO WAAAYYY!!!
If Fat Charlie has another melt down like today there will be a call from South Bend!
In fact I would almost bet that a certain agent named Sexton has already made the call!!

Bringing 3 programs back is a powerful notion...especially when it whispered in your ear by Jimmy Sexton.

he'd be geographically closer to sarah palin and could make a run at her for his trophy case ..

I heard from another coach that alabama offered saban 2 times, and he turned them down twice. When they came the 3rd time with the 4 million he offered. He also said that something like 10 people turned alabama down, so they were desperate.

UW just finished raising something like $3 billion for its endowment. However, none of this goes to the Athletic Department. UW AD is self-sustaining, just like a lot of SEC programs.

The one thing that might prompt Nick to leave UA is if the UA elite start putting their fingers in Nick's business. Nick's a control freak (maybe that's good) and if he gets too much interference from the UA people, that might piss him off enough to leave. I don't have any indications this is occurring, but if it does, he's gone.
