The players don’t know who the next OC is yet. Crawford backing out was due to Joesph leaving.
Smith as well.
Kelly is handing the keys to Nuss next season more than likely, and the OC will fit his “strengths”. Kelly Really likes his potential, as well as Howard.
But …
Don’t count out Kelly bringing in a guy for a year from the portal. Dillion Gabriel is not off the table.

While I believe Nuss and Howard are both talented it would be foolish to not bring in another QB. We shall see.

It was reported that Kelly’s first calls were to Brennan and Boutte. I know it’s being reported Brennan has enrolled at USM but haven’t seen anything official on that. If Kelly gets him to stay, we are in good shape

Unless Kelly is bringing in Paul Johnson to install triple option, I’d say no! This is most likely byproduct of long overdue culture change the program needed. Reminds me of Sean Payton’s first year for Saints. He was throwing out lazy boys and sending guys packing.

Yes I do believe he follows him to Nebraska.
But I wouldn’t be shocked if he returned as well. Wilson will be on the case for transfers and securing guys in state, you can’t count that out.
Regarding Smith and tampering: this is a big issue. Smith isn’t the only one. Right now their are several players on LSU right now going through this.

All I know is we don’t have our OC to my knowledge. If I knew, I would definitely tell you guys.
Regarding on when an announcement could be made? would think in the next 4-7 days. I really don’t know. But there is a strong candidate in the playoffs that could alter that timeline, if it is indeed him.
