Chabon is a fantastic writer. Get ready to break out the dictionary too.

I have to use my phone to look up words more than I'd like to admit.

Just started Red Rising based on the hype it gets from this board.

I'm about half way through the first book and it's definitely living up to the hype so far. Thanks for the rec.

Just finished The Nix by Nathan Hill, really enjoyable and thanks to the board for the recommendation.

Having enjoyed what I've read from Fredrick Backman so far (A Man Called Ove and My Grandmother Asked Me to Tell You She's Sorry, though I couldn't get into Beartown) I'm about to start Britt-Marie Was Here.

I want to echo others in giving thanks for this board. I've read a bunch of great books I wouldn't have if not for this board.

Just finished reading Oathbringer, will start reading Iron Gold some time next week.

Edit: I really wish HBO, Netflix, or Amazon hits up Brandon Sanderson for adapting the universe he has created. Would make for an interesting series.

Finished Artemis yesterday and was very disappointed. Main character was good, however the plot was weak and lacked suspense.

Started on The Witcher book series with Blood of Elves.
