Donny dust - wild wisdom - primal survival skills for the wilderness

Was walking the aisles at the library and decided what the hell. I’ll grab this . Can’t hurt. Maybe I’ll learn something.

Needed a break between some DCC and Mitch rapp books I’ve been knocking out

I'm also a Mary Beard fan, so curious about it as well.

4th book (technically 5th if you read the Assassin's Blade novellas first) in the Throne of Glass series. It's been really good so far.

Finally got a copy of Wild Dark Shore today at the library - seems to be a contender for 2025 book of the year

Ready to get into it

I'm also working through the top 10 of 2025 as well, inspired by all the year end #bookstagram posts. This one is on my list, so I'll be curious to hear your impressions.

Off the lists, so far I've read:
We Are All Guilty Here by Karin Slaughter
The God of the Woods by Liz Moore
King of Ashes by S.A. Cosby.

They're all really enjoyable.

Currently reading The Names by Florence Knapp, which is kind of a brilliant concept for a novel.

Embers of the Hands: Hidden Histories of the Viking Age
Book by Eleanor Barraclough

Very good look at a time in history I don't know much about. Generally well researched and well written.
