Tripwire by Lee Child

Just finished that a couple days ago, pretty good.

If you like the Reacher books I recommend Worth Dying For, that’s my favorite so far.

Now I'm into detective stories. The last thing I read was The Surgeon by Tess Gerritsen. I advise you to read it, it's fascinating. The next parts are even more interesting, I look forward to reading them

Author Karin Slaughter writes a great detective/suspense series. There is a Hulu series called Will Trent that I saw that made me start reading her stuff

Recommendation from this thread

Listening to it on audible instead of reading. Not sure if there is a hard copy since it's an "audible original". Not a bad one for a road trip.

What do you like about it? Why’s it so great? I’ve never read it myself. Just wondering…

I read over 100 books a year and have for over 30 years and it is the best book I have ever read. The characters and the story just make it the perfect book. It also has the most evil villain in the history of literature in my opinion.

The two damaged detective books are on Kindle as well as audible, not sure about hardcopy though.

Custer's Luck

Edgar I Stewart

Best of the overall campaign book leading up to the Last Stand.

Covers all the columns as they move to trap the Sioux in the Little Big Horn Vallery.

Gives good biograph on all the commanders of the columns and the Sioux leadership going into the battles.

DeRudio is a misunderstood person at the time he was with the 7th Cavalry, he lived a very colorful life. He is known for his tall talks, when in reality he did much of what he said, few believed him.
