You beat me to it with Mark Twain. Can’t wait for that. I don’t buy books anymore except for Chernow releases . Will be there opening day for it
Another one for me is Douglas Murray has a book about Israel/palestine which should be great like everything else he does titled “ On Democracies and Death Cults: Israel and the Future of Civilization” in April.

Loved the greatcoats didn’t know the author was doing other stuff. I’ll have to look into that. Abercrombies The Devils will be a first day purchase.

I love Douglas Murray. Didn’t know he had another book coming out. Will read.

I don’t think that’s a 2025 book but I hope it is

I think you are right as far as 2025 goes. Sanderson is set to begin writing Mistborn Era 3 in 2025, tentatively called the Ghostbloods Trilogy. He's not going to publish until all three books are written.

2025 will be a lean year for Cosmere fans, it appears

Have they set a release date for it yet?

nope but speculation late 2025, he's pretty reliable with his writing

The Colonel and the King by Peter Guralnick. He got access to never before seen correspondence. His previous books on Elvis were great.

I just want concrete, real news of some sort of progress from any one of Rothfuss, GRRM, or Scott Lynch
Tolkien will rise from the dead and and grace us with more middle earth before that happens though

He has an entire completed series called the Spellslinger series that is excellent.

I read that Spellslinger was YA so I skipped it. Us it readable as adult fantasy also?

I wish they’d just get a ghostwriter to finish. I’d love to read those series but I’m not starting them if I know they’ll never be finished.

The Devils by Joe Abercrombie is top of my list.
The second book of The Captives War Trilogy by James SA Corey (the guys who wrote The Expanse series) is supposed to be out this year.

Been reading Crime and Punishment since the new years off and on. Incredible writing.
Next gonna go a little lighter with Congo by Crichton which I am absolutely stoked for.
