Unfortunately Daryl was seen in the finale with Rick and Michonne.
However, I think from some other sites I have seen that Daryl appears to meet up with the group that took over Rick's house.
So there is definitely something up with this group.
If it's the Hunters then that would be an extremely bold move to encounter them like this, unlike how they were introduced in the comics.

I'm not sure they could meet up like they did in the comics because the group isn't going to be on the road together.

Next...
Hopefully they get the Hunter's finished by the end of this season.
Then start next season with Lizzy being the murderer, and Carl killing her because he realizes she is a huge threat..
They have way too many of Rick's right hand "men" in the TV show right now.
I think Daryl is going to be safe...I think they are saving him for Lucille.
Abraham is safe until Negan.
That leaves poor ole Tyreese. He missed Michonne's sword, but I think he is going to get the Hunter's wrath.

well Liberty you know as well as I do that Kirkman has stated that one of the people still alive in the comic will be dead by the end of the season...So let's speculate...
These are all of the characters I think Kirkman has a decision to make on.

Maggie
Sasha
Bob
Tara
Tyreese
Carol
Beth
Of these characters I think Maggie and Tyreese are the two most likely to kick the bucket by the end of the season.

I think that honor still goes to Glenn "if" Maggie is still alive on the show at that point in time.
I think Tyreese is destined to be hunter chow.
They know what they have in Daryl and I just can't see them offing him unless the actor wants off the show.

I think that's it.
That's what makes me think Maggie is going to die.
And without Maggie being there, Glenn dying by the hands of Lucille doesn't make much sense.
So Daryl get's Lucille'd.

They could make the Hunter's less important and just feed then ole Bob and save Tyreese for batting practice. This was one part of the comic I hoped stayed the same, Glenn going out like that was very dramatic. That really needs to be there WTF moment without killing the ratings darling Daryl.

It was effective, but I think that was because up until that point in the comics, at least to me, Glenn had become the "fan girl" favorite.
I think Daryl going out like that would be just as effective as Glenn.
Now for the Hunters, I really think they have to kill off one of the main cast members.
Simply because at that point in the comic, it was the point where you could definitely notice that the group was never going to be the same.

Knowing that she's so insignificant in the comics makes me think rosita will be the one to die. I completely forgot about her and Eugene being alive and he's actually important to the storyline.

Where do y'all think they get to in the story this year? I'm thinking they wrap up the Hunters in the next 3 and introduce the Alexandria scouts and what's going down there in the last two.

The guy on the porch (one they're claiming to be Negan) choked out the guy on the bed. Didn't kill him though. That fits with Negan because the guy didn't move when he told him to move.

I think quite possibly they were savior cameo much like Dave/Tony were almost like cameos for the Governors crew (same type of trucks)
