He said about mid way through that he had seen all these people die that were apart of the groups he was in. He is claiming that turned him to the bottle.

Strange. I'm not sure why he would believe this could work.
If he's the cause of the outbreak I'm sure that will be a cause for alarm for the others.

This discussion came up in another forum. We all know that Glenn Mazzara got fired for sucking up Season 3 for the most part (Merle and the Gimple written episodes notwithstanding)
So in that way do you see Season 4 as almost a reboot?
Really the seasons flow like an alternate continuity to each other
Seed/Sick >>> Season 4 Episodes 1-4/Walk with Me >>> Rest of Season 3/Governor Stand alones occur concurrently >>> Too Far Gone.
Anyone else think it flows good like that beside a few simple things like Michonne/Andrea? Its almost to me like the Flu happened at the same time as Walk with Me.
So in that way do you see Season 4 as almost a reboot?

Another thing is I am having problems trying to place the show into any sort of timeline. This is the best I got so far. Any changes would be helpful. I use a "shatterpoint" from TWD Universe and ours as Spring 2010.
April 2010 - Rick is shot
June 2010 - Wildfire is declared
August 2010 - Rick wakes up, group heads to CDC (all this happens within a week)
Late October 2010 - Group leaves farm
May 2011 - Group finds prison
June 2011 - Raid into Woodbury
September 2011 - Governor kills his army
Early Spring 2012 - Governor Flashbacks
Late Spring 2012 - Outbreak (which lasts about 2 weeks)
June 2012 - Final battle over the prison
Everything from Rick waking up in the hospital to the CDC was likely a week (seeing the hadn't eaten in days comment from Jackie means they did go to the Vatos location looking for shelter still)
Seeing that even with local traffic a ride from the CDC to Fort Benning is only a 3 hour drive, you have to realistically believe the Farm is somewhere in the Senoia area. They were there from a day or so after the CDC until early winter DESPITE only being able to see 9 dawn/dusk scenes the whole season. Well they may have skipped time, the problem is the way Season 2 is written there isn't a lot of skipped time except between Nebraska and Judge Jury and Executioner. Basically a lot of season 2 the episodes ran together as a continuous plot. There may have also been some off camera time for Carl to heal in the first half I just can't place it in the storyline.
And since we know the the Prison is somewhere near Newnan as well that means that spent the winter on the road within an hours drive of the farm anyway.
Somewhere in the first half of season 2, Carl and Daryl healed offscreen I just can't place it. Damn season 2 was too much of a central story without episodic nature to it.
I am beginning to think Daryl was out a lot longer than we have expected during Chupacabra.

Just finished 118. It was okay. A little bit of action and we catch up on Maggie and Hilltop. This is the only issue of the month because of Christmas, so there won't be another issue till January.

wasn't a big deal but was in it. kind of an interesting issue but bummed the next one is pushed back.
