I'm starting to have mixed ideas about the Judith thing as well. She could be alive, and make it back to Rick and Carl, then later when they introduce Negan, Judith could be a hostage that Negan takes. That could lead Carl to hopping in the truck and riding with the Saviors back to the compound to try and save Judith.

Judith is alive, I am sure of it.

You think we'll see Negan this season?
I really hope the writers don't botch the Hunters storyline and rush through it.
This season finale would line up perfectly to cover that story. The finale would end right as Rick and Co. brutally finish off the cannibals.

yeah, Negan has to be next season. They have to set up the whole community at the hill, the group being scouted and found first, the horde attack, etc. No way Jesus and Negan come in this season. I wonder what the show does after next season, will it have passed the comic by then?

I think Negan will come either next season or the next. It would be too soon to throw him in there.

I liked the phone thing and him being able to relate to Michonne
I think it worked better in the comic.

I guess that also bears the question of whether the show will take them to Washington, or at least the Georgia version of Washington.

I think Carl and the dead rat girl are headed for a face off with Carl eventually killing her.
I think it will be like the "twins" situation in the books. She will kill her sister and Carl will kill her.

Do yall think they will introduce the hunters into the show or leave that out?
Posted on 12/2/13 at 12:58 pm to thatguy1892
Yeah, I don't think Negan will be appearing anytime soon with the pace the show goes at. Hell, another kid gets lost in the woods and 2 years could pass.

I hope they do. I would be very dissapointed if they didn't.

I really hate the Negan character. I'm hoping that he dies soon. I love how he is stuck in his fortress right now.
I'm guessing we see them all find each other and reform as a smaller group, only to find a person who brings them to their fully enclosed government built neighborhood.

I would be surprised if the show got any further than the groups reuniting by the end of the season.
We will have at least an episode of Rick/Carl on their own, I would guess 2. Maybe an episode solely for Carol. An episode of the bus? And then you have the remaining group: Maggie, Michonne, Tyreese etc which will get a couple episodes. I see them dragging out the reunion until the finale.

I do as well. I feel Kirkman really has dropped the ball with this arc and I'm not sure what direction he can go in to salvage it.
I guess what I would do is have the all out war like they are doing, have literally everyone die except Rick, Carl, Andrea, Michonne, and maybe a few others and have them stumble upon a govenrment facility where they are experimenting on the dead and want to use Rick and his friends as test subjects.
What else can you really do? It's hard to make a comic like this last forever, as it's always going to end in a conflict with Governor/Negan character.

Governor/Negan character.
The thing is Negan and the Governor are nothing alike. While the Governor was just a selfish a-hole that wanted nothing but a good life for himself, Negan actually does care about his people. Negan set rules so that people don't get out of line. He also truly believes that he is keeping the other groups safe. Negan doesn't want to kill someone unless they are truly weak, or if he really really has to so that he can send a message. Think of all the times that he could have killed Rick but didn't. The Governor would have killed Rick as soon as he had control of the prison.
If you group Negan and the Governor together, then you have to group the Hunters, the group that tried to kill Rick, Carl, and Abram on the road, and the D.C. scavengers as well, because they are all human obstacles.

I didn't mean they were the same type of person, but more of the same scenario where one strong leader (with psychopathic tendencies) leads a community of surviviors against Rick and his clan.
How many more of these can we realistically see before it becomes the same "wash, rinse, repeat" storyline?

Yeah, they can all fall under the general category of Human Obstacles, but Negan and The Governor are very similar in that it is another storyline focusing on a tyrannical leader.

I'm placing my bet on that kid Rick and Carol encounter was part of the Hunter's group. Rick gonna be pissed when he sees him again.

Based on the pacing the Saviors would be a Season 6/7 plot. There has to be some time with peaceful interaction between Alexandria and Hilltop to re-establish Rick the lawman.

And, there are numerous place on the interwebs for you to discuss what you want. If you purposefully troll the non-reader threads, you're getting banned.
btw in the second half of the season, I'm bringing the troll hard on the Sofias. (I figured we could call the non-readers Sofias because she's pretty dumb in the comic and well was pretty dumb in the show.)
There's no need to even go in those threads. Let them live in their ignorant bliss.

I think after Negan we'll see something different. I could see where each of the groups fight over who should run the shite. I could see where the group go on the offensive towards the roamers. I could see where some start heading out west looking for answers to what they should do next with their lives. There's multiple possibilities and I have no worries about where the comic is going.
