I have yet to see someone come on here who's read it and not like it.

" Cheap ass"

I use the library a Lot, myself. I own tons of books and can buy any book I want, but I also enjoy supporting the library. They are important and need all the support we can give them.

This! Finished the trilogy in about ten days. GF just started reading and already finished the first book and has started the second one. Very good reads.

If you liked that one, and haven’t already read it, In The Garden is Beasts was great.

Same here. I love to go to the library and just browse the shelves. I can get lost in the library and be perfect ok with it.

The Looming Tower - fantastic read on islamic extremism from the 1940s through Bin Laden and 9/11. Gives great perspective on all fronts with a ton of information on CIA and FBI bungled efforts to eliminate Bin Laden and thwart 9/11. Good history on Bin Laden and his family, could not put book down.

"A Gentleman in Moscow" - A fictional tale of a Russian Aristocrat confined to a hotel in Moscow after the Bolshevik Revolution. It's historical fiction and an easy read.

"A Man Called Ove" Well written fictional work chronicling the struggle of an older Scandinavian man attempting to adapt to modern society after his wife dies.

The primary audience for both books is probably men over 30.
Both are easy, entertaining reads.

Airport, airplane reading; don't want to get too technical?

Recently I've been into Vince Flynn, Ben Coes and Brad Thor, they're all of a type. But decent enough stories and not so difficult as to require too much attention to detail.

Undaunted Courage by Dr. Ambrose is solid, too. I really enjoyed that one and it may be back on my re-read list.

I recently read "Around the World in Eighty Days" by Jules Verne and I really liked it. I was very impressed with the travel plans described in the book. This coincided in time with the study of geography and with the help of the site https://assignment.essayshark.com/geography-help.html I began to understand this subject better. Also, I advise you to read Mark Twain's book "The Innocents Abroad" about his journey to Europe, observations and comparison of life in different countries.
