American Assasin is coming out soon. How are the books? Should I read them in order?

I enjoyed them, but they became repetitive.

The first few are awesome and addicting. I highly recommend them

John Clark says "entertaining, but let's not start making comparisons."

I started about 2 weeks ago in chronological order. I am now on Transfer of Power (third one). They are very entertaining.

Yeah, that's what I thought. I liked them for a while but they're just kind of all the same. Sometimes it almost seemed like a lot of paragraphs were just copied from the earlier books.

Outstanding. The audio books read by George guidell are very well done as well. The next book comes out Tuesday, I'm pumped.

New book is out now...Enemy of the State. I just started reading it last night. Haven't gotten far enough to have an opinion yet worth sharing.

I'm not the type of reader that can critique writing styles really well. Having said that, I don't really notice any big difference between Vince Flynn and the new writer (Kyle Mills). It's still Rapp kicking arse.

I'm hoping the movie is good. Saw a person on twitter that went to a screening and raved about it. But I take that with a grain of salt knowing the only reason he got to go was because he was head of a fan club or something similar.

Really enjoy the Rapp series. Movie previews look like they are taking some liberties with American Assassin...we'll see

I enjoyed them more than the Lee Child books.

Have read them all and just started the new one last night. I really enjoy the series, but am interested to see how the movie compares to the book. It's understandable, for various reasons, that it won't be exactly the same, but I hope it isn't unrecognizable.
