Has anyone read the books I this series? I like sci-fi and this seems to fit the bill but wanted to see if anyone had thoughts on it before committing.

Yeah I really enjoyed it. The first book starts off kind of slow but picks up about 1/3rd of the way in.

Great series, especially the audiobooks

I read all 19 books in the main series earlier this year. It was a bit much, but it’s definitely worth giving it a shot. I was getting a little burnt out towards the end because he ends most of the books with cliffhangers. I would recommend taking several breaks as you read the series to mix it up.
There is also a few optional spinoff books that are sprinkled through the series. I read the first two before giving up one those. You get some exposition in the main series that covers the events of those books, so they are by no means required reading.
Like the poster said above, the audiobooks are great. I would purchase the kindle edition on Amazon and get a steep discount on the audible as a bundle. Roughly $11 for each combo.

Chapter 10.
You gotta power thru to chapter 10 of the first book.
Then it all changes.
100% audiobook recommended

Very worthwhile in my opinion. I echo what others have said, “Do the audiobooks.” R.C. Bray is fantastic here.

I’ve been listening to the audiobooks. I’ve gotten through the 5th book and started the 6th. I had to take a break I’ve enjoyed them but I’m just tired of them.
