So I am about 1/3 of the way through The Butcher's Masquerade and wanted to share a few thoughts.
1. This feels more like Books 1 and 2 than the others. Seems more precise in its story telling, if that makes sense. The shorter chapters may be driving that feeling as well as the focus on Carl and Donut not everyone else.
2. Never thought I'd be entertained by dinosaurs and their activities as much as I was.

The books on level 6\9 are tGOAT of the series IMO. Butchers Masquerade and dealing with all the hunters is awesome.
Faction wars is amazing.
Book 8 was honestly my least favorite so far.

It is very good but it it isnt Lit RPG. The narrator is considered top notch as well. He did PHM as well
