There's so much going on and so relatively little mentioned about Apito that I don't know how yall would even catch that 
ONly thing I remember about Apito is that she created the Butchers Masquerade (?). Not making the Samantha connection.
On a Samantha note, she is arguably my favorite character. I don't think I could put her over Donut but man she is incredible.

There's a missing Goddess and another Goddess of sorts with a spotty memory and powers that she seems to forget she has. If you read enough fantasy you'll start to watch for that sort of thing.

I mean, I read A LOT of it. I think it's more of that there is so much going on and so many characters introduced that I would have had to have listened to a podcast or read some extra reading material to make that connection. There's just so many characters and 90% of them end up being semi irrelevant it's hard to keep up.
Went to the DCC Wikipedia to refresh my memory on the character. looks like that could cause some trouble with Donut of true because with Donuts anklet she is essentially the Antichrist of Apito.

Probably should put book 8 spoilers. I think most are ok with stuff that is released but i personally don't want unreleased spoilers.

Im re-doing the Bedlam bride one in eager anticipation of book 8.
Its a good idea. They have enough flashbacks that its been easy so far to recall the important parts of the previous bookz.

I think the odds were high of that when it was announced as live action. I just don't see how they have the budget to do it justice as live action.
It needs to be an animated adult series along the lines of Invincible.
