Guys I've been away for some time (banland), and I am so happy to be back!
Got my copy of The World of Ice and Fire pre-ordered though, ready for Oct. 28th!
I've lurked some but not really been able to keep up since I couldn't post, are there any new interesting theories I should be aware of??
TIA

I have always assumed that the Horn of Winter is the horn that Ghost found and is currently in Sam's possession. I also have a crazy theory that the Tarlys' sigil, The lone Striding Huntsman, and their ancestral sword's name, Heartsbane are both important. Both put me in mind of the story of the Long Winter, and the final Hero concluding his hunt alone after all his entourage have been killed. Heartsbane sounds like a good name for a sword that was forged by killing the women you love.

So my Crackpot theory in all this is that Dragonbinder is also the Horn of Winter. And because men who blow the horn are killed, who better to eventually take possession of the horn than a resurrected, non-living, non-breathing, possible wight with frozen lungs, Jon Snow.
My theory is that, like Targaryians can be immune to the hottest fire, the Starks can be immune to the deepest of colds, like becoming a wight and still maintaining their humanity. I think this is why cold hands has a great chance to actually be Benjen Stark and the same will happen to Jon possibly.

I believe Cold Hands is a Stark but not Benjen.

I believe he is the Night's King and the Other whose seed he gave to's son.

Very good theory and one that I've never seen before

'Your monster, Brandon Stark'
that leads me to believe that ColdHands is either Night's King, Lord Commander Stark, or CH is a dead crow that Bran summoned while in his comma

I remember in one if those James Johnson YouTube videos that CH's statement to Bran can be interpreted 2 ways (depending on how you interpret the inflection of the quote).

That's not a bad theory.
It's not a great one, either. Jon is not and will never be a wight.

We are getting closer to being 6 months away from S5
.
Also, has anyone pre-ordered The World of Ice & Fire yet??

Same here.
I'm guessing if I preorder it on Amazon that they'll ship it/deliver it on it's release day?

No clue. Never ordered from Amazon to get something that just came out.

It should. That's what they did with the last Harry Potter book.

Thanks Belle
. Just trying to decide if pre-ordering from Amazon for shipping or Barnes & Noble for reserving/picking up a copy is a better option.

You missed out by not going to the midnight release. I was 18, so it was pretty damn cool to grow up with Harry while reading it.

I plan on going to the midnight release for TWoW if it's ever finished
