Speaking of Dorne, what does the board think of Darkstar?? Does he make it to the show? I know it's hard to guess because he's still so much of an unknown in the book, but just curious what you guys think we'll see in Dorne.
I doubt he'll make the show, especially since it seems they're taking Dorne in a new direction from the novels. I have a feeling he works for Varys though, and wants the Lannisters disposed of completely and justice for his family's losses in Robert's Rebellion.

And speaking of Darkstar in the Crackpot thread: Myrcella is already a dead girl walking. He used a poisoned blade against her, and she'll slowly but surely start dying of infection.

who cuts her in the show then you think?

But she had cleared her initial fever by the time Ser Boros (right?) arrived to the water gardens. And she was spilling the exact story Arriana told her to.
What makes you think she's still poisoned? I guess the infection could recur, but I thought GRRM made it pretty clear that she had recovered by the time her kingsguard arrived.

It sounds as if GRRM tried to get some reader reaction about Gerold Dayne, and a lot of the readers thought he was a silly character and referred to him as "Dorkstar." Martin seemed to be a bit taken aback by this, and I think he wanted to make Darkstar a bigger player later on in the novels. The guy tried to start a war between Dorne and the Lannisters; he needs to be on the show. If he doesn't make the cut, do we think it would be Areo Hotah or just some random, unnamed Dornishman?

Maybe we have a case of fMyrcella. It's probably been awhile since anyone from King's Landing has seen her, so just find a Lannister-looking girl and use her to pose as Myrcella.

She could be dead right now actually. She has a look alike cousin that looks almost identical to her, she just has straight hair why Mycella has curls. Not difficult to fake it. Plus Balon Swann was not a member of the Kingsguard when Myrcella was in King's Landing, so he may have not fully recognized her.

Tyrion provided them one. They set sail on a few ships and disguised Myrcella and let her cousin stand-in for her in case Stannis should intercept them. If she was close enough to fool Stannis, then she could fool Ser Balon.

Balon Swan...not Blount. Thanks.
Good point on the stand in Tyrion sent.

Do any of yall wonder what Hodor means....since it is not his name, do you think there is deeper meaning?
Sounds like a secret passage for sending prostitutes out of your house without detection.

I think when he began to talk he couldn't pronounce "Walder" and could only say Hodor.

Well that kind of logical talk will get us nowhere

Not everything needs to be crackpot

I'll be disappoint if they cut Darkstar. They will probably limit themselves to the three main sand snakes and I could see the most of Arianne's little gang not making the cut (Spotted Sylva, Drey, etc).
Also, Biter and Rorge weren't with Shagwell at the Whispers, so we could conceivably still get Nimble Dick, although I doubt it.

What I didn't understand was if there was going to be a fight outside Bloodraven's cave, why couldn't they have Coldhands show up and kill a few pirate skeletons? When they all go into the cave and Bran or Meera says "they will kill him" and Leafs "he died long ago".

Because D&D must know who coldhands is and don't want to reveal it yet
