She's been fricking Moon Boy. Calling that shite now.

She's been fricking Lancel, Osmund Kettleblack, and Moonboy for all I know.

Cersei is also the only person in the Seven Kingdoms who actually liked Joffrey. People in that room who had much larger motives to kill Joffrey:

I still think Cersei is one of the least likely people to have killed him. Tywin or Sansa are wayyyyy more likely IMO.

True, I just thought I'd see if anyone else thought it was a possibility.

Cersei never really had that much of a problem with not controlling Joffrey so much as attempting to control her Lord Father. Tywin was the one who knew that the lack of control of Joffrey would doom them all. It's easily foreseeable that Joffrey would not have only killed Tyrion, but also gone back to war with every house that ever defied him, and lead to the doom of House Lannister. Joffrey had to go before he turned 16.

Definitely, and Tywin was no fool; he knew that Joffrey had already pissed off most of the kingdom and that Joffrey would be dead meat in no time (due to the fact that he pissed off so many people). Tywin cared about the Lannister Legacy and knew that Joffrey would be the ruin of his House. In many aspects the Purple Wedding--while I don't think Tywin was involved--was a good move for Tywin to be able to use Tommen to cement his rule as Hand/his control over the Seven Kingdoms and bring stability back to the Realm. However Cersei is fricking dumb and screwed it up, along with Tyrion putting a crossbow to him.

Plus it theoretically got rid of Tyrion forever. I think the only thing that really pissed Tywin off about the situation is that someone dare do at the most regal event in the history of the Seven Kingdoms. He was glad to be rid of both Tyrion and Joffrey.
The only thing dumb that Tywin did in that is letting Cersei name the Mountain as her champion, when one of the most feared and dirty fighters was in the city and had a dream of taking down the Mountain himself, which win or loss would royally frick the Lannisters. The scenario of Oberyn defending Tyrion should have certainly been in the front of his mind and risked letting Bronn take on basically anyone else for Tyrion to get away.

Anyone have a good lemon cake recipe?? I want to make some for Sunday night and I'm going to go buy some challah bread or some sort of egg bread like that and cut a hole in the middle and fill it with salt for guest rights.
Inn at the Crossroads
This is where I got my Old Bear's Spiced Wine recipe from as well, which I will be making this Sunday.

Thanks . Can't wait to try a few variations to see which one is the best.

It wouldn't have mattered, I believe Tywin was already on his way to his death bed. Tyrion just gave him an easier way out.

You think he was poisoned which would explain the smell at his funeral?
Posted on 4/3/14 at 2:43 pm to Porter Osborne Jr
IMO the Red Viper got him when (think it was Jamie's POV) the three(Tywin, Mace, Oberyn) had their private meeting.
Posted on 4/3/14 at 2:43 pm to Porter Osborne Jr
I don't believe it, but many fans think he was poisoned by the Red Viper.

Which leads one to wonder why he hadnt poisoned Mace as well to boot. He knew Willas was a cripple and the Martels and Tyrells have hated each other for centuries. There's only one explanation, the two families are working together to get a Targ (or someone they think is a Targ) back on the throne. They are trying to pave the way for Aegon.

That would look far too suspicious.

But he's Oberyn, he doesn't give a f*&k. He acts before he thinks. Besides, who would have blamed Oberyn, he'd be dead. They probably would have blamed Tyrion since he would have already taken out Tywin and Joffery in the eyes of the court.

Don't think the Red Viper had any hate for the Tyrells. He wanted two people's head, the Mountain & Tywin. I don't think he goes after the Mountain unless he has already eliminated Tywin.
Oberyn and Wills were friendly despite the injury, and they wrote to each other. Which could mean that they were working together (not sure on that one, but some people think so)
