Sansa is in my top 5 favorite characters now and a lot of that is because of those Pawn to Player threads and rereading some of her chapters. She grows up significantly from AGoT to AFFC and I'm looking forward to seeing how her story pans out over the last 2 books, especially since she wasn't present in ADWD.

My view of Sansa changed drastically during the attempted seige of Kings Landing when defeat seemed eminent Cersei coward to her chambers while Sansa was trying to keep the people in the throne room(or where ever they were) calm.

Yeah, Sansa started to grow on me in ACOK and I started to really root for her after ASoS and through AFFC. I was actually really mad when I found out that GRRM didn't have any Sansa chapters in ADWD.

Yes, he did; I think Edmure raised the portcullis for him before the parlay.

Those Jaime chapters in AFFC were great, especially reading his threats to Edmure in his POV. And then when he burned Cersei's letter .

I'm currently reading ACOK and it's clear Varys was behind Barriston Selmy's dismissal. My question is why did Varys send Selmy to Daenerys and not to Aegon?

Aegon already had Jon Con. Dany needed Selmy more.

Did he send him to her? He was dismissed so the Hound could join the guard and maybe Varys was behind that, but did he send him to her. Months before that he tried to have her killed.

I wonder that too if Varys or Illyrio were behind Barristan going to Dany; but I always assumed Barristsn went to her to serve the "rightful" heir of the IT and observe her to make sure she wasn't like her dad.

Plus JonCon was with Faegon and I doubt Barristan knew about Faegon being alive.

And I could see Jaime going to Jon if/when he finds out his parentage .

I hope Dany will frick shite up with Drogon and a khalasar. Come back to Meereen pick up Selmy/Unsullied, Victarion/Iron Islanders and her two other dragons.

I don't, Jamie was suppose to protect Jon's brother and sister, he sat his arse on the throne while they were butchered.

Then the brother he grew up with, well Jaime Lannister sends his regards.

Jamie is going to die and I don't think it will be pretty.

No, I think Jaime will die too but I actually think it won't be until ADoS.

I still subscribe to the Crackpot theory that he's going to be Jon's Criston Cole.

Agreed. Think Jaime and Cersei's arc in WoW will end with Jaime strangling her, although I'm sure that will be a Cersei POV chapter when she dies.

And Jaime is pretty damn remorseful of it. It's pretty much his only big regret in his life is letting Rhaegar's children get slaughtered by his own father's men (that and letting Tyrion loose to kill his father).

In the next book, I actually think once Jaime hears of Aegon's arrival, he will go to him thinking it's his chance for redemption. He'll secure Tommen's survival by admitting he is his own child and make him Lord of Casterly Rock once Aegon wins the war against Cersei. Cersei will instead kill Tommen in her madness and will be the final straw for Jaime killing her.

Once Jaime figures out though that Aegon is a fake, he will hear of Jon fighting the war in the North against the Others, and learn of his claimed heritage. Jaime will flee King's Landing with an honor Lannister guard who betrayed Cersei in order to serve Rhaegar's true chosen heir and die in battle defending Jon.

That's my theory at least.

The only living people who know these words are the Freys, Roose himself, and Lady Stoneheart. I doubt Jon will know of it or even remotely suspects Jaime's involvement in the Red Wedding.

Jaime is on a redemption arc. I do think he will die, but I think it will be a glorious death that he always wanted. Cersei is the Lannister heading for tragedy, and I am completely unsure of whether Tyrion's arc will take him to triumph or sorrow.

Thanks LT! Yeah, she's a total Hodor, never watched the show with me simply because I didn't want to spoil it all for her.

She pretty much knows exactly what it is she's getting. She knows it's a set of books and I told her all of her favorite characters are going to die it took her about .25 seconds to realize what I was talking about.

You don't think Lady Stoneheart will blame Jamie? She plays him for everything. She's likely telling, well not talking, that Jamies to blame.

Lady Stoneheart was never a fan of Jon Snow either. I don't see any reason to think that those words would reach Jon's ears.

And I think Jaime will escape Stoneheart. I really think it's a copout that we didn't get to see Jaime's encounter with Stoneheart in ADWD.
