I'm against both, but Tyrion is the least likely of the two. Here's what I'm basing it off.

Tywin was reportedly pissed at some of the liberties that Aerys took during the bedding, could possibly have led to the twins. But, if and it is a big if, Aerys did impregnated her, wouldn't he think there was a possiblity that the twins were his. Tywin's only other child was deformed dwarf that killed his mother at birth.

So if Aerys had been the father, keeping with Targ tradition, he wouldn't have been opposed to Cersei & Rhaegar's marriage. There is nothing he would have liked more than to have his son (with one woman) marry his daughter (with another woman). Plus his grandchild not Tywin's would sit on the Iron Throne & Casterly Rock.

As far as Tyrion, is there any indication that Joanna ever went to King's Landing just prior to her death? Tyrion was born in Casterly Rock and the mad King never left King's Landing.

Tyrion is the heir to The Rock. But Westeros number one law is kinslaying. I don't think you're even allowed to take the black for that one.

aime and Cersei validates some things that have happened over the series. It validates the blindness of Tywin to his children, how Jaime is accursed in the eyes of men for not only being a kingslayer but unknowingly a kinslayer, Cersei being attracted to Rhaegar, Cersei's obsession with torture and wildfyre, as well as her madness.

Being descended from Aerys would only progress the two characters, although I think Cersei would only find out about it from Jaime himself seconds before he kills her. Jaime would be of course horrified, but also see it as a chance for redemption. Cersei would probably realize that she has become her true father.

There are so many signs that they are Targs, appearance, mannerisms, instincts, banging each other, ect...
It almost makes me less inclined to think they are Targs

Personally, I think it's less them being Targs but moreso them emulating the Targs (whether they realize it or not). And that power can easily go to the sanest person's head and frankly Ceresi just isn't that sane to begin with (unfortunately cray cray is not exclusive to the Targs ).

Tywin would never have allowed himself to even consider such a thing. He is incredibly stubborn about his children and didn't allow a thought to pass through his head that was somewhat blasphemous about them, and if it could be proven, then the realm would bleed over it from Lord Tywin's wrath itself. He refused to see Jaime and Cersei's incest and Tyrion's potential greatness until it was absolutely forced upon him.

Keep in mind that in Aerys' mind, Cersei and Jaime are merely bastards. He doesn't think that bastards that are the product of rape would be worthy for his son. Regardless if they are his own, they are still not worthy, and his own private little "frick you" to Tywin.

Ya but it is often said that Tywin changed after the death of his wife. There really is no way to tell how he would react and more importantly how is wife would react to him offing her children.

I'm just saying that if Tyrion is proven to the realm beyond a reasonable doubt that he not Tywin's son, he'd still be in line to be heir of Casterly Rock. Both Jaime and Lancel have fully renounced their claims, Cersei and Mycella will likely die, and all that will stand in Tyrion's way is Daven to be Heir to the Rock.

I think Tyrion will inherit Casterly Rock once it's all said and done.

Just hope Dany isn't Queen of the Seven Kingdoms .

Honestly I have no idea who will sit the Iron Throne when it's all said and done. Maybe Hodor??

IMO, I don't think GRRM would put Dany or Jon on it...or leave Aegon on it at the end. God forbid if Dany and Jon have a political marriage.

I dont see any way this ends with Dany or Jon on the throne. It has to be Aegon

Is Aegon the real Aegon though? Or the Blackfyre/Illyrio's son scenario? That remains a mystery.

A character we meet 2/3 of the way into the series sitting on the Iron Throne in the end would be bullshite. Aegon should be nothing more than a catalyst for certain characters. Plus there's almost no way he's the actual Aegon and will likely through Varys hunt down Jon and Dany, two huge threats to his claim.

I personally see Jon sitting on the Iron Throne at the end of the series, and not win it through conquering the Seven Kingdoms, but saving them.

I think Jon has a better chance to sit on the Iron Throne than Dany and Aegon...his is the song of Ice and Fire to bring the realm together.

However, Jon is a Northerner through and through/at heart...not sure how he'd take to living in King's Landing. Which makes me wonder if the North becomes its own kingdom and could see Jon becoming the King of Winterfell. But then with Rickon still being alive, I could easily see him becoming the Lord (or King) of Winterfell. I doubt Bran will be the LoW because he's essentially training to be a greenseeing tree.

It wouldn't be rape, he would have claimed First Night(only way it could have happened).

His own blood marrying his own blood >>>>> Dorne

No his own private little frick you is his grandchildren sitting on both the Iron Throne & Casterly Rock.

Doesn't change that they're Aerys' bastards.
