I don't see it. All Victarion really wants to do is abduct Dany and a dragon. I see this ending miserably for Victarion, and all he does is deliver Dany a fleet to sail back to Westeros with. He'll be killed by one of the dragons most likely.

of course one flaw to this is that a lot of the men with him are probably loyal to euron
also victarion doesnt seem like the kind of guy that would use this method to take a throne
gotta pay the iron price, and getting a chick with a dragon to beat his brother might not be considered this

Definitely agree. Only Robb and Sansa truly grew up with all the comforts of being high born. Arya, Bran, and Rickon, not so much. Arya's willingness to adapt has kept her alive, and she never wanted to be a lady.

I don't think this is far off the mark.
There are so many mentions in ADWD regarding Dany's need of ships to get her host to Westeros.
I'll be pissed if Drogon burns the fleet. Dragon Lady needs to get her arse moving west...like two books ago.

I don't think they'll burn the ships, I just think that the Red Priest is knowingly leading Victarion to his death in order to give Dany her ships to go west.

Euron has people in the fleet just for this. I could see trying to take Danny, and one of Euron's spies goes after Victarion. He survives and joins Danny and commands her fleet.
