Books on the Yankees/Baseball in the 50s, 60s - women, booze, etc

Can any of you recommend some books on those classic Yankee teams from the 50s and 60s? I'm not really looking for in depth baseball coverage, more about the players lifestyles. I'm looking for stories more about the big steak dinners, copious amounts of booze, women flocking to the players, etc.

Can you imagine women flocking to Yogi Berra's short and ugly arse?

Not the 50s and 60s, but Sparky Lyle's "The Bronx Zoo" covers the same subject matter in the 1970s.

So you’re looking for depth and meaning of baseball, I see.

Mickey Mantle: All My October’s
First book I genuinely enjoyed as a kid. Must read.

I know an old gal that waited at Boudreaux's catering hall on Govt St..said Mantle made a run on her old bones when he came through town in the last 20 years..she declined..but he's still a hound!

That was a Mickey Mantle imposter. The Mick died in 1995.
And speaking of "The Mick", that's a funny book. Lots of stories about MM and Billy Martin's drunken antics.

Im pretty sure she intended the real Mantle. She told me the story in about 2003..and it would've happened in the twenty yrs prior to that yr?
Im getting old too.
