HBO's "Hard Knocks" is one of the greatest things to ever grace television. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers were asked to follow up the Jets on this season's show, but have declined...
quote:

"We have respectfully declined this year's Hard Knocks invitation," the Bucs tweeted. "Wonderful show, but the team wants to keep the focus on the field in 2011. The Hard Knocks invitation was a good indication of how much interest there is in the Bucs right now."
To be honest, I could watch any team on this show, but the Bucs would have been "meh". Now, I'm kind of excited to see who gets picked next with Tampa out of the running. It'll also be interesting to see what they do if there is no season. They could follow me go to Home Depot every weekend during the fall.

What team do you think should be next?

I hate Philly, but with their characters, they would be the best choice IMO

Seattle....Pete Carrol is very entertaining. He'd skydive into the Puget Sound one day or something similar.

I'm surprised Denver hasn't been approached.

Everything Tim Tebow touches, turns to gold.

I'm predicting the Broncos.

I wouldn't mind this at all.

But I would most rather anywhere where PP is.

The Bucs get too much praise. They did nothing last year but take advantage of a terrible schedule. Now their dumbass coach thinks they're a contender.

Good. We don't need the distraction or the hype (if it would generate any). The Bucs are a playoff team and don't need HBO running around everywhere.

So basically the Bucs basically said anyone who does the show is not focused.

Sounds like their message.

Bringing cameras around for an actual HBO tv show during an important part of the year will make it ten times easier for players to be off-task. I understand what Tampa Bays doing

The greatness that is the Oakland Rrraidis. That would get more laughs than tits on a bull. Would be like watching a car accident every week.

Reality shows and football should not be mixed

It's more of a documentary than a reality show.
