Streakers Run Onto The Field During Super Bowl 58

1970s also. While a grad student at USM, there was a rumor that there would be streakers somewhere around the Panhellenic Dorm (female--perhaps renamed Scianna Hall) after dark. A large crowd had gathered in front of the dorm. Suddenly, several streakers began running through the crowd, planning to escape over Hiway 49 into the houses across from the dorm. When the group got to the Hiway 49 median, the traffic light at Hardy Street and Hiway 49 had changed and had cut off the escape route, stranding many of the streakers and allowing police to pick them up.
