In Today's Johnny Manziel News: His Lawyer Quits
Jerome Miron-USA TODAY Sports
Due to his client not staying sober, Johnny Manziel's lawyer Bob Hinton will no longer represent him. This comes days after Hinton accidentally texted the AP Press. I still don't know how that happens.

So now what happens for Johnny?

He might've stepped down BECAUSE of the text to the AP. And also, he's not the lead lawyer. JM still has a lawyer.

How messed up do you have to be for your lawyer to kick you to the curb like damn

That "accidental" release of the text was no more "accidental" than Vince Foster's death.

Or Janet Jackson's "wardrobe malfunction" (why can't we edit these posts like those on the other boards?)

Lawyers only quit when there is no money left.

Thats the thing there is so much money to be made off this guy because he constantly gets in trouble, it has to be something even more than what it seems

JM may be a mess but the lawyer fricked up and took the easy route out by shitting on his client and blaming him for the reason he is quitting.

I mean, isn't this the red flag of all red flags? When an attorney is walking away from the unending amount of billable hours coming up?

While I'm not saying this whole thing isn't a total mess, I think your article is misleading. I'm pretty sure he stepped down because he sent the text, not because his client couldn't maintain sobriety.

Damn even El Chapo's lawyer didnt quit on him.

El Chapo's lawyer probably feared for his life. JM's lawyer only probably has to fear for his liquor cabinet.

What happens now, Larry? Johnny keeps living THE life and partying. Not sure why it's a big deal, I think people are jealous of his lifestyle.

Jealous of someone who could kill himself within the next 5 years if he doesn't turn himself around?
