Some of you ignorant douches dont make sense. When was he supposed to quit? He went through the summer and 2 preseason games and he knew he wasn't going to get better so he gave it up. Hey at least he tried for those degenerate fans. How was he supposed to know he wasn't going to heal completely.

On another note... Colt fans have had three of the best franchise qb's in history... Johnny U, Bert Jones and Peyton Manning, not to mention Luck. They should just shut up.

That's pathetic. You would think the Colts were still in Baltimore..

Baw hurts and can't run. Which network is going to pick him up? He is smart, fairly well-spoken, and has a clean image.

I think they are more boo'ing the timing of his retirement than anything. A week before the season starts? Yeah, kinda leaving them high and dry.

He clearly wasn't going to be ready to start for week 1 anyway.

Ankle injuries can be the most painful and long-lasting. The guy has a bright future in whatever field he chooses. Bad day for Baltimore. They were once a great NFL fan base.

How old are you? The Colts are in Indianapolis.

I totally agree Buckeye Jeaux. I messed up my ankle so bad and kept rehabing it and playing, but it was never the same and I was always in pain. Godspeed Andrew Luck, it was fun watching you play at Stanford and then Indy.

Dude made a decision based on his own quality of life. How do you fault him for that?

I agree with Flashback. If your heart isn’t in it and you want to quit, fine. But doing it now, you quit on your teammates who were depending on you. Total bs on the timing
