Has Drew Brees Considered Coming Out Of Retirement?
© Derick E. Hingle-USA TODAY Sports
Drew Brees’ new NBC broadcasting partner, Mike Tirico, asked him if he’d consider coming out of retirement to play again. The former Saints QB had a pretty clear answer...
quote:

“I better get my butt going if that’s the case,” Brees told Tirico, via NBC Sports’ Football Morning In America. “There is a saying that if you don’t use it, you lose it. That’s the truth, my arm is killing me because I haven’t been training to throw. I actually feel worse now than at any other point in my career. I may have one throw, one series, one drive.”

The thread title is fairly misleading Larry. Doesn’t sound like there’s any real consideration of him coming out of retirement.

I'm not sure about playing, but he could be the NFL's liaison on SJW initiatives. Perhaps a pre-game kneeing coordinator?
