Not the smartest thing to do for the player, plenty of security to deal with that, but at least he didn't pile drive the guy, then he's probably going to get sued.

I normally would agree but it was probably obvious that the fan wasn’t armed with a weapon at all. The intruding fans hands were up and he was wearing shorts and tee shirt so the odds of a secured weapon were void. The player put a swift stop to that bs rather than watch out of shape security chase a silly bastard.

The security guard with the fist pump and the bottom of the screen on the back view.

Ok, I whitelisted it on the Duckduckgo extension and that fixed it. FYI, in case someone else is having the same problems.

Thanks, I've been having the same thing happen and couldn't figure out what was causing it.

He showed a lot of restraint, he actually took him to the ground gently.

Running onto a field is beyond stupid but I wonder if the Oregon player considered the liability he was exposing himself to by physically subduing the drunken nut.

Coward punk blindsiding a kid while taking out his racist anger on someone who won't hit back.

This is a terrible take in about five different ways.
1. The player is obviously not a coward. He stepped in and did what needed to be done for the game to proceed. You could argue he didn't need to be the one doing it, but it needed to be done.
2. Punk? I'm not sure what you're basing this on. It's definitely an assumption and likely a poor one.
3. Blindsiding. Well, he came from the back to make the tackle because that's where he was. If you look at the video, he does not hammer the fan and pretty gently lays him down to the field. He runs up and when he gets there he pulls up and brings the guy down. Not a hard hit at all. Watch it.
4. Racist. Seriously, man? How on God's green earth can you see racism in this?
5. Taking out his anger? Again, I don't see how you can assume that the player is angry from this video, especially given that he doesn't launch into the guy and simply brings him to the ground for security.
Step away from your computer for a bit and get some air.
