As Head Coach allow one of your coaches to beat his wife and you get a 3 game suspension. As a player, sell your shoes you got from Nike for a few bucks and you get a 4 game suspension. WTF??? Where is the Big 10 on this? they have pedophiles at PSU, molesters at MSU and wife beaters at OSU. Can't wait to see what Michigan's got coming.

He himself did nothing wrong. He’s running a football program, recruiting, pleasing the boosters, coaching, etc. He doesn’t have time to concern himself about two adults who may or may not be having relationship issues or if a grown woman’s problems are legit or not. That’s for the authorities to decide. I am far from an OSU fan, but am a fan of justice and this is between Mr and Mrs Smith and the authorities.

If this was covered up and involved youths like the Baylor thing then I get it. I learned a long time ago to not mess with grown adults and their relationship issues. Leave it up to them and the appropriate channels.

The wins fit the punishment. 73-8......= 3 games suspension. If he were 41-40???? Fired with no investigation.

Garbage. I think Saban and Meyer, short of actually killing someone, could survive just about any scandal.

He should have been fired but OSU's 100 Million dollar football program is more important....#Metoo movement will soon be on campus

Is it possible for anybody outside of UF and OSU fans to not think he is a piece of shite?

I agree he's not a marriage counselor, but he is responsible for the employees he manages. If I get into any kind of legal problems, I have to report it to my supervisor, who then reports it to HR for them to decide how I should be dealt with. This is the way life is in the working world and for instance, if I got a DWI and didn't report it, I would be terminated since I drive a company car. If I did report it, there would be punishment, but not termination. Urban had a responsibility and he failed and should have either been terminated or suspended for a much longer time than 3 games.

I don’t blame Urban one bit. It’s not his job to be a marriage counselor. He himself did nothing wrong.

He's a pretty successful football coach, not a nuclear physicist...

Very underwhelming statement and penalty. SSDD. All about keeping the revenue from the football program intact.
