There is more to a QB than how far he can throw it. Reading defenses for one, accuracy for two, decision making for another. This young man has a strong arm. How well he can do the others is what makes a QB special. Drew Brees, Tom Brady and Peyton's arms may not have been as strong as this but look at their careers.

Trevor "overthrow" Lawrence, Lord of sucking in big games.

That's not the most impressive throw he made, you grabbed the wrong clip. The impressive one was him rolling and fading left and throwing a bomb back right. That's the clip everyone was talking about

Come on. Controlled environment with no defense. Every pro level prospect should be able to make that throw. Now look at their game tape against top level opponents and that will tell you all you need to know.

Trevor hasn’t done so hot against top level opponents in the last 2 years

Can't most pro prospects make that throw? No defense, no pressure.

Uncle Rico makes that throw 9 out of 10 times.

I’ve been saying I’d take Wilson first for weeks

It will be interesting to see how Lawrence does without being surrounded with superior talent, and playing a weak schedule.

He isnt going to win overnight. He will have to be built around. Only good news is they didn't have to give away 2022 and 2023s pick to get him.

Well, Jamarcus Russell looked like the #1 pick in the draft in shorts and a T-shirt too and how'd that work out for the Raiders

I doubt the BYU QB is hittin’ the purple drank.

Looked like Jamarcus hitting Doucet at that ASU game.

Davis really blew it on that pick. Russell was an idiot.

How long wasn't? Hard to tell.

Looks like 60 yards from where he was to the end zone. It’s hard to tell if the receiver caught it in the end zone or not.

He was on the 35, so 65 if it was all the way to the end zone. Pretty damn strong considering he was moving left and didn’t step into it.
