Shaquille O’Neal Says LeBron James Is On Path To Become The Greatest Player Ever
© Brett Davis-USA TODAY Sports
Our we agreeing with Shaquille O'Neal's saying LeBron Jame is on his way to becoming the greatest player ever? Because I'm a hard "NOPE" on this...
quote:

“I know what he’s doing,” O’Neal said. “Championships are great, but he’s trying to pass Kareem up. That’s what he is doing. I know exactly what he’s doing. ‘Cause now if you pass Kareem up, it ain’t no talk about who the best player ever is. Think about that? I saw he needed to average [25] points or something like that the next few years, which he will do. He can do that in two more years.”

MJ and it's not even close. MJ played in a defensive NBA. LaBro does not.

MJ would make LeBron quit before halftime if they played together.

But LeBron went straight from HS so he has 3-4 years on most of the legends of the game. Kareem also has a storied college legacy connected to him as does MJ. It is easier to get the scoring title over Kareem when you start at 18 and the other starts at 21/22 and has 3 National Championships and play of the year awards. Same with MJ! Great college career too and therefore missed years of scoring in the NBA.

Nah. His support of the CCP invalidates any claims he has. That, plus he played in the softest era in the history of the sport.
