Kim Mulkey Provides Updates On Angel Reese, Kateri Poole, & Sa'Mayah Smith

LSU Women's Basketball head coach Kim Mulkey spoke with media on Wednesday and provided updates on several players, including Angel Reese, who has not been with the team for two weeks.

Mulkey said Reese is back with the team and will play Thursday night vs. Virginia Tech. Guard Kateri Poole is out, according to Mulkey.

Sa'Mayah Smith suffered a torn ACL, MCL, and meniscus in her right knee last Friday vs. Niagara and done for the season, Mulkey said. She will have surgery in three weeks.

Smith was averaging 13.7 points and 8.5 rebounds per game while shooting 66% from the floor, in seven games this season.
