According to reports, the LSU Board of Supervisors is holding an executive committee meeting at 4 p.m. today to discuss potential litigation against the University.

It is the only topic on the agenda.

Is the board a public entity ? If so, they have to state more specifics than that to go into executive session.

No they don't. Actual or threatened litigation issues are always discussed by public boards in executive session. Nothing wrong with it.
