Here's a behind the scenes look at LSU running back Leonard Fournette modeling the "Gridiron Gold" jerseys that the team will be wearing in Tiger Stadium this Saturday vs. Mississippi State.


The last time LSU wore gold jerseys in Tiger Stadium was 1996, when they beat Vanderbilt 35-0.

Ironically, that game in 1996 was a whiteout for the fans in Tiger Stadium. Vandy wouldn't let LSU wear white jerseys at home because DiNardo left.

I think they hot. I would have left the tiger and LSU on the helmet, but other than that, they're pretty sweet.

Why is the number on the helmet not purple? Kinda throws of the color scheme a bit when the stripe on the helmet is also gold.
