Two guys got into Tiger Stadium this week and took a golf cart for a joy ride which has prompted LSU police to investigate what happened. Per WAFB:
quote:

According to an LSU representative, the video is being reviewed by campus police. The video, which was shared Monday, Feb. 17 on an Instagram account, shows at least two unidentified men riding in the cart around LSU’s football stadium.

Officials could not confirm whether the cart was an LSU owned vehicle.

The field is currently just dirt. The school removed the turf at the end of the 2019 season due to planned renovations.

Was I the only one who was disappointed that it wasn’t Marshawn Lynch?

Who cares? The gates to the field used to be left open all the time back in the late 90's early 2000's and people would sneak in. Never anything harmful done.

If LSU admins knew what we did in that stadium in the 1970s between the hours of 2 am and 4 am they would be proud, sort of. Part of the college experience.

What's the big deal? It's a golf cart and a joy ride. Zero vandalism and it appears they're drinking water.

U realize the ground has to be professionally (paid labor) cleared of ALL debris, small rocks, dirt clogs etc & also professionally (again paid labor, not cheap) leveled. Not to mention drainage & irrigation pipes that may have been damaged & need replacing. But yea it looked fun, not enuf fun to be locked up & levied a heft fine plus any additional labor 4 items listed above!

right wing you have no idea what you are talking about, there was no exposed drainage pipes in that video. Looks like all they've done is peel back the turf at this point. They weren't even going fast, they were literally just driving around being loud. This very well could have been two guys who had access that just posted the video to be silly. You need to shutup before you make yourself look more stupid.

Open the stadium to the public like so many stadiums around the country and this isn't an issue.
user avatar
What are some of the other major college and pro stadiums that are completely open to the public? In this day and age, I can think of none.

I believe Clemson allows fans to come onto the field with the players after each home game. I think that's pretty cool.

As with many cool & fun things from years past the Trial Lawyers & Insurance Companies have effectively ended things like open areas to the public w/o adult supervision.
