An enigma…ran a 4.6+ 40 also. How can I dude with those physical attributes, be an all conference tackling machine at Oregon St then be a shadow of that potential his only year at LSU. Something just wasn’t right…coaching or what?

I truly think Omar's issue last tear was more on the coaches than on him.
It's been proven that Matt house was inept at tailoring a defensive scheme to his players.

Seems like a lot of combine drills are just nostalgic but clearly outdated. Workout warriors don’t equate to being great at a sport, usually quite the opposite.

I said last offseason that it will be fun to watch him learn to play LB and everybody gave me crap saying he already knows how to play. This season he will prove his ability to respond to coaching and his dedication to improving. I hope to see a big powerful LB ranging sideline to sideline. His time is now

I said the same thing last year. The guy's a machine. A little disappointed about 2023 BUT this year will pay dividends - big time. One to watch.

I wish I could agree with you, but what I saw on the field was puzzling. He showed little to no aggression or want to tackle anyone.

How much of it was coaching, we'll see. How House got to where he is still has no explanation.

Now, if coaches can train him to tackle, get in position on time, cover tight ends and evade blocks, we might have a LB.
