Watch: John Battle Runs 40-Yard Dash At The NFL Combine

Never thought he had great speed but always thought his biggest flaw was mental errors, against Bama he and, I think DW came free backside, had Tua dead to rights....instead of keeping outside he got in front of the LB and Tua did the little spin out move and got away, turned a 10 yard loss into a 15 yard gain because he didn't do his job, let the LB stay inside and you stay outside in case he does that move and then as the S your right there to smack him as he tries to roll out of trouble....but he gave it all he had so... He'll always be a Tiger for me

He will make a NFL team but not by that 40 time.

Battle improved a lot as the year went on, but he was still the weak link in the secondary. I'll always pull for the guy but I really don't see him making an NFL roster.

Man I really like S John Battle but he has to run a better time at LSU Pro Day.
