This should have happened this week already imo. Brees you should have offered that guy some of your time and knowledge before this game. If not for anything else just for some laughs and good times. Hopefully they did that at some point. Man the Saints were just off for this playoff game, which is crazy because you would think that they would have been completely ready to tear a new whole in them for what happened previously. The Saints need to shore up 3 main areas. They need a power back, I like Taylor from Wisconsin for that role. They need a WR. I like Justin Jefferson for that role or one of the Bama WR’s or Clemson WRs. We should have options. Then we need to address the other corner back spot and maybe grab a safety in free agency, trade or draft. Then we can look to add OL and LB depth. I think for now the OL, DL and LB spots are ok but we have to add a powerful back and a WR or 2 so they can provide help for Thomas. I like the TE addition as well as the nickel position we’ve added. Now we need another CB for the other side. I’d hate to draft a RB first round but it’s a need that can’t be denied. Kamara is great but is elite as an all purpose back and not an every down back between the tackles. He needs help. So does Thomas. Let’s not waste both these guys best years in the league. Let’s get them some help. With the right additions, this will be a Super Bowl team next season and Brees can go out like The Champion that he is.

I’d also add that every successful playoff team has been able to run the football at a high level. Come playoff time, you have to have that element. The 09 team had that and good defense. Brees is great but you just can’t be 1 dimensional in the playoffs. These teams and defenses are too good and they turn it up another level during the playoffs. At this point in his career, Brees should be like a PG of the football team anyway. He would be perfect in that roll too.

That's our next generation of QB's. You know coach O is making an impression on them early and they wont be another Manning family.

Drew Brees will never get the Saints to the Super Bowl. He may get to the playoffs, but he won't go further. A 16 game + post season is too much for him at his age.

Dude. You have found a new level of stupid with these comments. I'm new to this board so you may just be a troll and I'm unaware and took the bait. If so we'll done.
