I don't know why people were surprised by this. He was both a star linebacker and star running back in High school. The only reason he didn't play running back was because Leonard Fournette and Darrius Guice were thier and Coach O told him he would see the field early if he focused on LB exclusively. His speed shouldn't have surprised anyone.

It looked like he and Greedy were being beat up by the Draft "Experts" before the combine but that shite will change direction after this week. Def for DWhite at least. Seems like a lot of LSU guys have been pushed down the draft boards the last few years, what's up with that?

Devin White seems like a guy that will have many Pro Bowls in his future. Also the type of guy that all LSU fans will be rooting for because of the way he represented himself as a Tiger.

How do you not pull for a kid like D White? He's not just an excellent LB but he's also a great Leader. I may have missed something but as far as I know there was never anything negative about DW, on or off the field. Im talking about his grades or legal issues. DW has to be one of the best players (any sport) that has come out of LSU in a very long time. I look forward to watching him in the NFL for years to come. If the football gods are keeping score we Louisiana fans deserve a couple good bounces our way. So as long as the Falcons, Bucs or Panthers don't draft him ill be happy.

This is a man who ran a laser timed 4.49 at 258lbs heading into his senior season of high school. At 237, there should have been no doubt that he'd run fast. He's going to be a monster in the NFL.
