Adams faked the blitz on a three-step (quick) drop play and QB didn't see/react to the coverage drop. @wildtiger, I'm not sure it was a slant (looked like it a hitch or quick out to me), but either way, good lesson for the QB.

Yes, a receiver was there. He's just not in the video frame, so you can't see him; he lined up farther outside than the hash-to-hash shown in the screen. (Which is why I assumed it was a hitch or quick out.) That being said, since the receiver's not in the screen, no one can tell if the pass was on target or not, only that the QB didn't pick up on the coverage drop.
