Tom Brady was on the “Let’s Go with Jim Gray” on Mad Dog Sports Radio Monday and took some serious shots at Ohio State when talking about Joe Burrow's decision to transfer to LSU.

Burrow was also on Monday's show with Brady. Per 247Sports:
quote:

“Joe’s obviously a great player,” Brady said. “I think one of the (greatest) decisions he ever made was leaving Ohio State. You got out of that godforsaken place and (went to) LSU. As a Michigan man, I could tell how smart he was when he did that. One of the best you ever made Joe.”

Burrow then responded and agreed, sort of.

“I think it was too, but maybe for different reasons than you might have,” Burrow responded in laughter.

It's gotta sting to cut loose a player who wins a national championship and a heisman with his new team.

Seven Super Bowl rings. Supermodel wife. GOAT status. Still carries a college rivalry hatred after 22 years.

True story. I had a VP from my company fly in to Houston to meet with a client with me. We headed out to lunch from my customer's business, and were all going together in the business owner's car. My VP stopped me and said, "I'm not getting in that car." I asked "Why?" He just pointed to the front of the car and the license plate was a Texas plate with The Ohio State University logo on it. The business owner looked at my VP and said, "Michigan man, huh?" My VP, "Yep." The business owner said,, "We'll see you at the restaurant." They were fine, otherwise, but the hate is real.

Brady knows how dumb Ohio State was to not be able to see greatness.

They saw greatness. How could you not? I just don't they they saw how they could start him over Barrett and Haskins without causing division.

@KurtSchrute it's more than just the Haskins > Burrow decision, which made some sense with the hand injury. Him even getting a look at OSU was due to Tom Herman pushing hard for him late in the cycle because Urban didn't think he was worth much. And once he was on campus, Urban kept him down the chart and told him he threw like a girl. Herman believed in Joe, but Urban Meyer never did. Oh well. OSU's loss, LSU's gain. Not going to be upset about it at all. :)
