Please Pittsburgh, give him a go. Anything but Landry Jones filling in for Big Ben again.

Is it really worth remembering a QB rating of 83.4?

Hey captain panic, Brees is worth every penny we have paid him if for nothing else than the super bowl. I agree he is aging, but I never thought I would see the day we win a super bowl. Be thankful.

In my third year of franchise on Madden 17, Mettemberger was the starter for the Texans when I met them in the Super Bowl.

He needs to get rid of the tats and the hair. Maybe then he could find a decent job.

he's an odd bird. Don't get me wrong - I love what he did for us, but I always thought he was a unique character.

So because he has tattoos he is headed down the wrong path? Enlightened opinion.

It's typically a proven trait in the path one is headed down when they go from not having tattoos to acquiring a lot in a short amount of time esp at an older age 25+.

I liked Mett at LSU but one is blind if they can't admit he has not done very well at all at the next level. Best of luck to him tho.

BabyTac, I mean he hasn't exactly played with the NFL elite either...I mean, the Titans drafted him, which could possibly be the worst franchise in the league and then picked up by the Chargers?? Not really world-beaters...I'd like to see him behind a Drew Brees or a Brady for a year or two...

Hope he finds somewhere he can stay for a while. Geaux Mett

Bring him to NOLA. They might have a QB worth a shite.

...are you insinuating that the Saints don't have a QB worth a shite? Not even ONE you can think of?

Nope. Brees isn't anywhere near worth what he gets paid.
