Matt Zenitz of 247 Sports reports that LSU is hiring ECU general manager Noah Joseph as a defensive analyst on Brian Kelly's staff.

Before ECU, Joseph was the general manager at Purdue in 2023 after spending two seasons at Missouri as a defensive analyst. Before his time with Missouri, he was Rutgers’ co-defensive coordinator and safeties coach for a pair of seasons (2018-19).

His other coaching stops include Indiana, North Texas, Montana State, and Eastern Illinois.

Not a flame - what's the point of going out there and spending ALL This money on CBK only to load out his staff with the highest earners and a butt load of analysts?

LSU isn’t a for-profit university. They have no incentive to save money if the money comes in. Idiots like us keep funding it and giving them more and more money, so they find more ridiculous ways to spend it. Woody’s job is literally to bring in the money and spend it as fast as he can

The point is, Kelly isn't capable of coaching without tons of top help. He's a moron

Not sure if he's a moron OR if he's just given up and is enjoying his last meaningful years of employment. Either way, hope we learn a valuable lesson here and do better in our next coaching hire.

Looks like he worked with Baker before and has experience coaching safeties. We’re gonna wind up with 1 coach/ analyst per safety at this point.
