The UAB football program announced Tuesday that they will be traveling to Baton Rouge during the 2022 season to take on LSU in Tiger Stadium. The game is scheduled for Nov. 19.

Other non-conference opponents for LSU in 2022 include Florida State in the season opener on Sunday, Sept 4 in New Orleans, and vs. New Mexico State in Baton Rouge on Saturday, Sept. 24. Per UABSports.com:

BIRMINGHAM – The UAB football program has announced the addition of two SEC opponents in LSU and Georgia to its future non-conference schedule.

The Blazers play the reigning national champion LSU Tigers on Nov. 19, 2022 in Death Valley, and will face Georgia on Sept. 23, 2023 in Athens. UAB is also scheduled to play at Georgia on Sept. 11, 2021.
