During Houston-UConn game on Thursday night, this fan was spotted in stands holding this sign about Tom Herman and LSU:

I get it. I'm a Tech undergrad. Smaller schools have to scout up and coming coaches. When they start having success, the schools with money can sweep them away. C'est vie. So, come on down to Baton Rouge, Herman. You'll get some championships here.

Exactly... Gonna have to take on more than just LSU. Looks like after last night LSU IS THE PLACE to be. It's proof that with a great HC LSU is a REAL Power House Program. It's refreshing to see my Tigers playing ball the way it's supposed to be. We have everything a coach would want. It's the PERFECT set up for a great HC to come in and win a championship year 1. To say LSU isn't the best destination in the nation is very ignorant and just plain stupid.

Hey, I don't take delight in the suffering of a program that is facing the very real possibility of losing their HC. But it IS the way things go. UH fans, rest assured if he ends up in BR he will not experience any drop off in attention, for good or ill. January still a ways off. I think ya'll have that Big 12 meeting coming up soon too? Might know more on that point, too. Anyway, you guys torched those dogs last night - congrats! Payback always sweet. Cheers.

Big talk. If he doesn't end up in Baton Rouge, he'll be in Austin or LA. Surely they're not crazy enough to think this guy coaches his whole career at UH!

Yeh, like Nick Saban coached his whole career at LSU. Right now Baton Rouge is not exactly a coach's dream job.

Saban was happy at LSU. But he got the opportunity to coach professional ball (Which is the ultimate goal for most coaches), in South Beach of all places! It was an opportunity he couldn't ignore. When it didn't work out, Bama came in just in time to snatch him up. Forget what there saying to the media, LSU will be able to choose who they want to be the head coach because a lot of the top coaches in the country will be vying for the job because it is a "Dream Job". LSU has some of the top talent in the country right in it's back yard and not real competition to pull them away, along with Texas (the state that makes produces more top QBs then any other state in the country. LSU has been surviving on talent alone for about 5 years now, not because of Les Miles. Imagine if they had a legit head coach to lead them. There's alot top coaches thinking exactly that.
