During Tuesday's episode of ESPN's 'Get Up,' Paul Finebaum said that this week will be LSU's last as No. 1 in the College Football Playoff Rankings.

quote:

"This will be LSU's last week as No. 1," Finebaum said. "Because next week, if Ohio State beats Penn State, LSU goes down."
LSU finishes the regular season at home vs. Arkansas and Texas A&M. A win vs. Arkansas on Saturday night will put the Tigers in the SEC Championship vs. Georgia.

Ohio State has Penn State and Michigan left on the schedule and will likely play Minnesota or Wisconsin in the Big Ten Championship if they make it there.

Paul is a nut job and is in morning since Alabama lost to LSU.

Finebaum is such an obvious bama fan. He absolutely despises LSU too. It oozes out of every pore of his little body. He can't stand that LSU is no. 1, lol. Screw him. The guy has no clue about football, but has some of the biggest opinions concerning the sport. It's hilarious how he wears his biased emotions on his shoulders. What a tool.

STTDB... It does not matter what Ohio St does, who they beat, when, or where, there is absolutely no way they can put together the resume that LSU has already successfully navigated.

For the life of me I do not understand how instigating the gimps and barners as a career qualifies him to be an sec analyst.

More instigating the barners and sucking the gumps off. That's more like it. Make no mistake about it, he's definitely a bama fanboy. He would suck saban off if given the chance and pay saban for allowing him to do it. I can't stand that douchebag. His hate for LSU is as obvious as his love for bama.

Screw Finebaum- he's still pissed we beat Bama!

Yeah, and they should have beaten Alabama much worse than the 5 point victory they had. The defense is atrocious and gives up way too many easy plays and points to opponents, this must change or LSU will have a hard road to the National title.

Hahaha that's exactly right my boi! You know it as well as I do that he can't stand that LSU beat bama, had the Heisman trophy winner, and is in a great position to win the natty and eventually replace bama as the premier program in the sec and the nation. Lol, I love it.

Being Finebaum never predicted LSU would be #1 or even in the running for the CFP I question his prognostication ability.

Everyone step back and think about this for a second. We haven’t played a complete game yet this year and I’d say Utah State was probably the most complete game but also ultra conservative at the end. Just imagine if LSU had been landing the DL and OL recruits we’ve been trying to get here the last 3 or 4 years. If LSU can now land these guys like Burch and Dumerville and the like in 2021? Imagine the depth LSU will now have. We actually have some true DEs who can and will grow into 265 lb range. We also have the true OLB who has speed and can rush. We have the big DTs who will plug holes and rush the QB. We have the true NT also. I hope Shelvin stays one more season because he could really use it. He’s only starting to dominate. Another season at LSU and he will shine like the old Bama NTs. We will have depth all over including TE and quality depth at that. We can flex them outside or block. We will have quality depth at RB and OL. If Myles B can develop into that tough gun slinger type of QB there’s no doubt he will have the surrounding cast to make him successful and make a real run at another championship if we happen to win it this year.

No Paul because LSU is about to put out its best complete game of the season. Offense, Defense and ST’s is all about to come together in Death Valley and we’re about to see an epic beat down. Arky can rally behind the interim HC all they want. I’ll say 65-0.

After Arky it’s payback for the fags. That game won’t be anything close to a game either. 58-17 Tigers with 7 coming in the last minute of the 4th with our 3rd stringers playing. Jimbo will try to make it look respectable but we’ll all know the truth. After the figs are the leg humpers. That game will be closer but I still don’t think their secondary is as good as our WR core. 42-24.

BayouBengal99@ I agree. Even to see how cocky Kellen Mond was during SEC media days providing added bulletin board material. I've enjoyed their trash season after that.

Paul started his career in Birmingham...it’s shocking that he is ride or die with the Crimson Tide but always tries to make it look like he’s being objective. That dick looking POS is a waste of our time

When LSU inevitably beats UGA in Atlanta, LSU will have five wins against top-ten teams. What other contenders will have more top-ten wins?

Didn’t take any genius to figure LSU would be number 1 this week. And dumb azz fine bum is dead wrong on us losing number one next week. LSU has beaten 4 top 10 teams. Not 4 ranked teams...4 top 10 teams. Bama shouldn’t even be in the conversation. They’re third in their conference

Ohio State will need to dominate Penn St., not just beat them. What if Penn St. wins though?

Exactly!!!! Penn State understands that knocking off the #2 team in the country puts them right back in the playoff conversation! They bringing thier A game! OSU better do the same because I don't think Penn State got the memo that they are suppose to lose this weekend!
