It's Mt. Rushmore time on The Paul Finebaum Show this week and on Thursday he revealed his LSU All-Decade Mt. Rushmore which consisted of Joe Burrow, Tyrann Mathieu, Leonard Fournette, and Devin White.

What do you think?

How is anyone saying that Leonard isn't deserving? Aside from Burrow LF7 and TM7 were the only tigers of the decade to be in heisman conversations. That sophomore year the dude had over 2000 yards from scrimmage and 23 touchdowns. That is also the year he reamed Auburn all by himself. shite man, he had 220 yards on like 9 carries at one point against Ole Miss while he was dealing with a high ankle sprain

People argue these things based off emotion. They don't care for LF7 for whatever reason. But it really doesn't matter, because I agree with you. Look at the stats. Dude lived up to the hype while he was here. He was hamstrung by a pretty inept offensive gameplan against Alabama, but put LF7 on this team and our offense is even better. No disrespect to CEH, but Fournette is, statistically, the best back to ever come through Baton Rouge and that's being injured for the majority of his junior year.

The only year PP played this decade was 2010

PP didn't play but 1 year this decade

And his best year was 2009. This list is spot on, IMO.

yeah but 2010 was the only year he returned punts and kicks. that was like 2000 all purpose yards and a couple TDs. and the DB numbers are pretty much the same as 09 (more Ints actually), so I'd say his 2010 year is good enough to get him on the list.

WOW, WOW,WOW!!! I've read all the comments and how in the hell do they have all this negativity about RB Leonard Fournette? People y'all forgot how dominant this kid was? I mean I remember every time he got the ball I was on the edge of my seat because he had the potential to break a huge run and he usually did. And please stop with the Bama games because no RB can run against 7, 8, 9 man fronts every time Fournette touched the ball there were at least 2 defenders on him in the backfield. I remember an Alabama player I think it was Tim Williams saying he loved playing against LSU because practice wasn't hard because LSU came with the same game plan every year. So trust me people if LF7 had the luxury of a QB with Joe Burrow's quality where Bama had to respect the passing game he probably wins the Heisman and the discussion about LF7 would be totally different. And by the way I agree with Finebaum's Mt. Rushmore and I never agree with Finebaum but he hit this one on the nose.

Why don’t we ever talk about the tackling machine known as Kevin Minter?

Dozens of people are arguing about it. Fournette in particular

Easy to see why PP should replace TM7

LF7 was a great back in a messed up system and a 3 rate HC! You can say what you want, but LF7 is arguably the best back to go though LSU and he was heavily underutilized! Take this into perspective, Henry (the heisman winner that year) had to carry the ball over 200 times more than Fournette to beat him in rushing. On top of that Fournette sat out most 4th quarters that year! For those who think Fournette shouldn't be on this list, go back and look at the Auburn game his final year!

What's crazy is that Burrow belongs on the ALL-TIME LSU Mt. Rushmore. And you can make an argument for any of the rest of the other three to be on that list as well. (Some may not think so but that's why I put "make an argument.") Pretty good last ten years...

Hard to believe PP is left off this list. Won a Bednarik and Thorpe award in 2010, a 2 x first team all American and the number 5 overall pick.

Funny Tim Williams story: Alabama staff recognized he was a great athlete but not super bright. Only good for one thing, go straight for the ball. Ended up making him more of a third down player, so much so that they called it “third and Tim,” lol
