It's Mt. Rushmore time on The Paul Finebaum Show this week and on Thursday he revealed his LSU All-Decade Mt. Rushmore which consisted of Joe Burrow, Tyrann Mathieu, Leonard Fournette, and Devin White.

What do you think?

Y'all are crazy taking Leonard off the all-decade team. Most important recruit for LSU until Burrow came along. Didn't get over the Bama hump, but neither did the rest of the team while he was here. Fournette at LSU was like watching a man amongst boys outside of those Bama games. Dude was unreal.

PP didn't play but 1 year this decade

And his best year was 2009. This list is spot on, IMO.

yeah but 2010 was the only year he returned punts and kicks. that was like 2000 all purpose yards and a couple TDs. and the DB numbers are pretty much the same as 09 (more Ints actually), so I'd say his 2010 year is good enough to get him on the list.

Burrow, Mathieu, Devin White and Patrick Peterson (2010). Saying our team was mainly defense this decade i can live with these three making it over Fournette. PP was two time first team all America . White got the Butkus award. Saying our team was mainly defense

That's exactly the four I'd chosen. You can put them in whatever order you want but I'd go 1. Burrow, 2. Fournette, 3. Mathieu, 4. White.

Fournette over Mathieu?? LOL

I would absolutely put Fournette over Mathieu. As much as I love the Honey Badger, Fournette is the best RB to ever come through LSU and had 2000 yards his sophomore season. It's really weird how folks on this thread are dumping on Fournette. He was a generational RB.

Dalton Hilliard, Billy Cannon, Kevin Faulk were all better just to name a few.

Exactly right.

LF7 was a great back in a messed up system and a 3 rate HC! You can say what you want, but LF7 is arguably the best back to go though LSU and he was heavily underutilized! Take this into perspective, Henry (the heisman winner that year) had to carry the ball over 200 times more than Fournette to beat him in rushing. On top of that Fournette sat out most 4th quarters that year! For those who think Fournette shouldn't be on this list, go back and look at the Auburn game his final year!

It’s 1. Burrow, 2. Tyrann, 3. LF7, and 4. D. White

Do you think 1990 happened during the 80s? C’mon, guy.

He's right. Decade starts at 1 and ends at 10. Just like millennium starts at 1 and ends at 1000 (and 1001 to 2000, etc). But let's face it it's easier to just go by the 90s/80s/etc designation.

Fournette? Was he ever not ‘injured’?

Yeah, in 2015 when he damn near ran for 2000 yards

He was banged up a lot, and still ran for almost 4000 yards and had 40 TD's in three seasons. What on earth is wrong with your brain?

Burrow, D White and TM7 are no doubters. The 4th is up to discussion.

I agree with this. Fournette had 145 rushing yards and 1 TD in three games against Bama.

Leonard is not only on LSU's All-Decade team he is 1st All-SEC All-Decade. Only SEC RBs this decade in the same conversation as LF7 as a college player are Derrick Henry, Todd Gurley, Nick Chubb, Derrius Guice, and MAYBE Tre Mason.
