Beckham on-field production (catches/yds/TD): 2014: 91/1,305/12 (12 games) 2015: 96/1,405/13 2016: 101/1,367/10 2017: 25/302/2 (Injured, only played 4 games) 2018: 77/1,052/6 (12 games with a broken down QB) The on field production is the reason for the hype.

As for the "hype" you said he got because of that one catch...OBJ holds a lot of NFL records and has been performing well since his rookie season in the league, playing on a crappy team, battling injuries at times during his 5 year's, getting double covered and singled out by defenses putting their best dbs on him every week, and still performed like he did...which was obviously good enough for the giants to give him the biggest contract ever to a wr in NFL, in 2018. His best years are still ahead of him as well. Do you even watch football? You obviously don't know what you're talking about.
