New LSU defensive line coach Sterling Lucas sent the following farewell message to South Carolina after departing Columbia this week:
quote:

Gamecock Nation,

I want to sincerely thank you for the opportunity to be a part of South Carolina Football and to coach and grow under Coach Beamer's leadership. I am truly grateful for the trust placed in me and for the support I received throughout my time in Columbia.

I have tremendous respect and appreciation for the entire Gamecock staff and program. Coach Clayton White has played a significant role in my professional growth, and I am thankful for his mentorship and friendship.

Most importantly, to the players-thank you for your hard work, commitment, and belief. The relationships built here will always mean a great deal to me.

I wish South Carolina Football nothing but continued success moving forward. I will always appreciate my time as a Gamecock and the people who made it special.

With gratitude,
Sterling Lucas

How about you call him & tell him everything he doesn’t know about football, then he should be good enough for LSU right?

These keyboard coaches are hilarious and free entertainment. That is the only way to view them as otherwise, you want to take them behind the woodshed. LOL
