No offense, but how did Burrow earn that honor? He was mediocre at best in the game. Was the SEC play across the conference that mediocre last week? Tracy and Delpit are more deserving to me.

Burrow made clutch throws in clutch situations with the game on the line. That’s far from mediocre...he did miss on some throws, but made the ones he needed to with the game on the line.

1) Tracy is special teams, and Delpit is defense. 2) while his completion percentage is mediocre, 250 yards, a touchdown, 22 rushing yards, and super clutch throws for first downs against an elite SEC defense in your third start to win the game AT Jordan-Hare is nothing to scoff at.

Props to the SEC for going with Joe Burrow. He deserves it, despite not having the "typical" stats you usually see with a POTW QB.

Surprised that Delpit didn't get any recognition...he had a monster game.
